Apple has announced that it will be holding its annual WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference) between June 10 and June 14. The Moscone West exhibition centre at San Francisco will host this event. Tickets will go on sale on April 25 at 10 a.m PDT through Apple’s official WWDC website.
Apple has been using the WWDC as the launching pad for the annual refresh of iOS, their mobile platform. It is being anticipitated that the seventh iteration of iOS will receive a major design overhaul under the leadership of Jonathan Ive. Apple is also expected to discuss the future of its computing platform, the Mac OSX.
Apple’s CEO Tim Cook said that the Cupertino giant has plans to release new hardware during fall 2013 through 2014 while announcing the financial results of Q1 2013. It seems Apple will deploy a new strategy to counter increasing competition and recent plummet in stock prices.
