Yes it’s true, Adele has announced that she will be headlining Glastonbury in June. She will kickstart the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury on the Saturday evening.

The English singer and songwriter has been on three tours to date, won 10 grammy awards and been voted Glamour’s Women of the Year two years in a row. In total, she has won 98 awards. This will be Adele’s first festival performing as before she has mentioned the size of the audience “frightens the life out of me”.

Other stage headliners include Coldplay, who are headlining the Pyramid Stage on the Sunday and also Muse on the Friday.

The rest of the line up is planning to be announced closer to the dates.
